SUMMER SCHEME SUCCESS AT TRIBE
Following on from last year's huge success, Tribe Kids packed their bags as the Tribe Summer Schemes returned for its second year and catered this time for close to 250 children. The schemes have risen from one to five locations with the summer fun happening in four United Synagogues Brondesbury Park, Stanmore (joint with pinner), Muswell Hill and Richmond with an additional scheme running at Wolfson Hillel Primary School.
The Tribe Kids summer programmes have enabled Tribe members aged 3-11 to take part in a huge range of activities including dance workshops, go-karting, circus skills, face painting, mini Olympics and more all within a warm and friendly Jewish environment.
Yael Peleg, Tribe Kids Director commented: "The TRIBE Kids summer schemes aim to provide a fantastic service and range of activities for our younger members. Our numbers have more than doubled since last year, which is testament to the enthusiastic attitude of our TRIBE leaders, and we hope to extend the schemes to even more United Synagogues next year. With the success of this summers schemes we intend to run a series of Tribe Kids winter mini-schemes."
