UNITED SYNAGOGUE APPOINTS MARRIAGE LIAISON
The United Synagogue is delighted to announce the appointment of Lindi Wigman from Pinner as its first Marriage Liaison Officer.
In her position of Marriage Liaison Officer, Lindi will be the friendly face on hand to guide couples through the process of getting married within the United Synagogue family of communities, and playing a vital part in connecting newly married couples to their local US community.
The position will be carried out under the joint auspices of the United Synagogue’s Community Division and the Office of the Chief Rabbi.
Lindi Wigman is delighted to be taking on the challenge and said “Getting married is a wonderful time, but it can also be stressful. My role is to make getting married under the auspices of a US shul as smooth as possible and to show the couple the benefit of becoming involved in their local US community.”
David Kaplan, Director of the US Community Division said “With over 300 weddings taking place in United Synagogue shuls each year, this post creates a wonderful opportunity to get people to connect to their local communities and ensure we are able to keep on building a strong and vibrant United Synagogue.”
