PRESS RELEASE

OFSTED AND PARENTS TOAST TRIBE SUMMER SCHEME SUCCESS

The first ever Tribe Summer Scheme at Wolfson Hillel has proved a huge success with over 100 children taking part, and with an OFSTED visit resulting in the scheme receiving the highest grade possible.

The scheme, which runs from July 30th to August 17th has enabled children, aged 3-11 years old to take part in a huge range of activities including t-shirt designing, circus skills, clay modelling, puppetry, candle making, science experiments, wall-climbing, karate, drama, sports, arts and crafts and the list goes on!

Parent Miriam Hayes commented: “It is often difficult to keep kids fully occupied throughout the summer holidays, particularly for parents who work. The TRIBE camp provides a fantastic service because the kids love the range of activities, and we know that our children are being supervised by qualified staff in a fun and safe Jewish environment. I’m not sure where we’d be without TRIBE!”

The scheme manager Nicola Cahn said: “The camp has been an incredible success which is testament to the enthusiastic attitude of our team of TRIBE leaders. I’ve received great feedback from parents, many of whom have now extended the number of days their children are attending.

“With a glowing OFSTED report as well, we couldn’t have asked for more and are already looking forward to next year’s camp.”
