Dayan Abraham was born in London and was educated at the Hasmonean Grammar School (as it was then known) and Gateshead and Lakewood (New Jersey) Yeshivot, before moving to Australia in 1985 where he was a member of the Lakewood Kollel Beis Hatalmud, Melbourne.
