Triennial Elections of the Council of the United Synagogue

The election process for the appointment of Trustees and Women Representatives at the Trustee Board has now commenced, with the dispatch of Nomination Forms to Members of Council.
We are posting the Nomination Forms on the website, so that Members, who are not Members of Council, can see whether they qualify to stand for election, and if they wish to stand, they should approach Members of Council to nominate them.

The nominations for US Trustees have now closed. There are two candidates for United Synagogue President – Mr Stephen Pack and Mr Peter Zinkin. Their biographies and manifestos are available to download below.

Please join us on Wednesday 6th July at St John's Wood Synagogue for the United Synagogue Presidential Hustings. This event will be an opportunity to hear their ideas and plans for the future of the US. They will also be answering questions submitted in writing on a list of topics ranging from their vision for the US to challenges facing the 21st Century Jew. There are five women standing for two US Women Representative positions – Sylvia Hartman, Naomi Landy, Claire Lerner, Debra Morris and Doreen Samuels. Their biographies are available to download below.
