Reverend Meir Lev - Sutton & District Synagogue

Rev Meir Lev was born in Birmingham, and became minister at Sutton & District Synagogue in March 2010. He was educated at Chayai Olam (London) and Gateshead Yeshivot, and at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music. He has held cantorial positions in Birmingham (New and Central Synagogues), Leeds, and Bournemouth where he also served as acting minister, and he spent eight years teaching and lecturing in Israel.
Rev Lev is currently undertaking a Semicha course at Montefiore College. He and his wife Carol have two children and four grandchildren. |
