Rabbi Nissan Wilson - Clayhall Synagogue

Rabbi Wilson Studied in Gateshead Yeshiva and Yeshivat Heichal Hatorah in Jerusalem. Whilst in Israel, he joined the faculty of Yeshivat Ohr Somayach in Jerusalem, where he worked as a writer for the OhrNet website and panelist for the online ‘Ask the Rabbi’ forum, as well as lecturing in Jewish Philosophy on the Shoresh Programme for students and postgraduates.

My Synagogue

Rabbi Wilson has been the rabbi of Clayhall United Synagogue since 2006. In addition to his rabbinical duties, he has worked as a thought leadership writer and rabbinic consultant for JABE. Rabbi Wilson lectures regularly in Jewish Philosophy, and specializes in the writings of Maharal of Prague and Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.

In June 2011 Rabbi Wilson was elected as vice chairman of the Rabbinic Council of the United Synagogue for a three year term.
